Your DSB Order

Sourdough is part science, part genius, and part luck. All conditions have to be just right for the dough to rise to make the best crumb - that's the inside yumminess.


The DSB Kitchen at Delaware Street Bakery is a Cottage Food permitted kitchen which is required to bake and Sell each item every day so you get the freshest products each and every time!!

Since sourdoughs can take 24 to 36 hours to complete, 'the day clock' starts when the product is baked, cooled, and packaged. Sourdough Bread, Rolls, Cookies, and Sweet Rolls can be frozen and defrosted when needed. A QUICK heat in the oven or microwave gives a JUST-BAKED texture.


You will receive an email that your order was accepted (placed). I will also send an update on when it was baked.


Patience is essential for the baker and the customer in order to make the 'made to order' products. 

Sourdough & Yeast


Sourdough is a fermented wild yeast that differs depending on region where you live while yeast breads are made with fresh dry or cake yeast.

San Francisco Sourdough is tangy. Orange County Sourdough is mellow and with the addition of lactic acid can be tangier, but will never taste like SF Sourdough.


The weather, conditions in the kitchen, and a loving touch combine to make the best product for you the customer.

Delivery time starts once the product is cooled and is typically within 15 to 30 minutes from the time the products leave the bakery, baked to perfection, and wrapped with love.


It takes a lot of work and time to get that perfect loaf to you. It usually takes the entire day!
